GOOD NEWS FROM PARADISE...
Spring has sprung and good neighbors help out at the Park!
Happy June!
In this installment of "Good News From Paradise" we would like to recognize and thank the good neighbors who helped out by volunteering time at the Mayfield Pond Park Clean Up Day. We had to postpone the first date due to unseasonably cold and rainy weather. Despite that we had a good turn out the following weekend.
The local parks are a great asset to the Township and Village residents. We would like to thank the following people for their volunteer work at the Mayfield Pond Park Clean Up Day and for helping to make Mayfield Pond Park the paradise that it is:
Edna Sargent George and Polly Drew Mary Halladay Dave Fawcett Nick Wyskochil Wendy Butrick Clyde Raven John Sargent Gordon Wheeler Laren Thorsen Tim Trudell
This summer please take some time to stop and smell the roses... Visit our Township and Village Parks! For more information about our parks you can visit our website at www.paradisetwp.org or the Village website at www.villageofkingsley.com
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time.” - J. Lubbuck

GOOD NEWS FROM PARADISE...
Good Deeds & Good Neighbors - Every Little Bit of Effort Helps
"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do." ~Edward Everett Hale
Paradise Township would like to recognize and thank Tyson Baynton, Robert Whims and the late Phil Hamner for assisting a neighbor who has fallen on hard times. They assisted with the upkeep and maintenance of their neighbor's property.
With economic times being as they are we would like to encourage you to take a look around you and remember those less fortunate. Every little bit helps...
