Absentee Voter Ballot
Your request for an absentee voter ballot must be in writing and can be submitted to the Township Clerk. Your request must include one of the six statutory reasons stated below and your signature. You may request an absentee voter ballot with a letter or post card, or you can obtain a pre-printed application form from the Paradise Township Clerk or use State of Michigan Absent Voter Ballot Application
Absentee Ballots can be Obtained for one of the following reasons: 1. You are 60 years old 2. You are going to be absent from the community 3. You are physically unable to attend the polls 4. You cannot attend the polls because of tenets of your religion 5. You are an election precinct worker 6. You are confined in jail awaiting arraignment or trial
If the ballot must be issued by mail, the application for the ballot must reach the Clerk no later than 2:00 p.m. on the Saturday prior to the election.
Please note that your signature must appear on the application or you will not receive an absent voter ballot. Once completed you may mail the application or drop it off at the Paradise Township Clerk’s office. Completed applications cannot be e-mail as an original signature is required on the application for processing.
